Zara’s Springlands Hotel |
The Springlands Hotel will be your home base for Kilimanjaro treks and Tanzanian safaris.
It is located 3 km from the center of Moshi at 800 m/2,600 ft.
The rooms have twin beds, mosquito netting, and bathrooms with hot showers. All linens are included.
The hotel grounds are fenced for security, so you can enjoy the evenings outdoors.
- Cash and travellers cheques are accepted at the Springlands Hotel, but NO credit cards.
There is a $1 fee per traveller cheque.
- Except during low season (May 1-June 15 and November), all rooms are double and triple occupancy
unless you pay for a single room.

Prices
Two hotel nights are included in the Kilimanjaro price, but not with the safari.
Additional nights are available and include breakfast.

Dining
There is dining indoors and in the outdoor tropical garden.
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served with local and international dishes.
Breakfast is included with the room.
Lunches average $7.
Dinner is a buffet with meat and vegetarian dishes for $10.
The bar serves beer and mixed drinks.
Jungle Walk
If you have a few free hours, take advantage of the local jungle walk.
A guide will take you through the rice fields into the nearby rainforest where you can see different
varieties of monkeys and birds, as well as papaya trees.
The walk is free with a tip for your guide(s).
